Nova Scotia Provincial Team
The Nova Scotia ski team is a year-round program for athletes competing in race categories including u14 – open and para nordic. Our team objective is to build esprit de corps, develop friendships, and provide competitive learning opportunities and challenges.
This competitive program strives to create engaged young role models who are motivated for success at the national level, as well as inspire future generations of nationally competitive provincial ski teams. Athletes compete at regional, provincial, and national races. The program also includes training camps.
Nova Scotia skiers carry on the tradition of competing at the Canada Winter Games, which have been held every four years, since 1967. During this time, 120 skiers have represented Nova Scotia on 14 CWG teams. We look forward to cheering on our Nova Scotia racers at the 2027 Games, hosted by Québec.

Post secondary

Nova Scotia skiers are experts at balancing competitive skiing and post-secondary education. Skiers train for the opportunity to compete at events held at all levels – provincial, national, and international. Four Nova Scotians qualified to race at the World University Games – for some it was their first international competition; venues included Poland, Italy, Korea, and Austria. Notably, post-secondary skiing programs offer challenging training with awesome experiences, contributing to your network of life-long ski friends. Understand your post-secondary training opportunities and find more life adventures through cross-country skiing.
