Rental Equipment for Groups

A fleet of youth ski equipment is available to rent by schools, youth group leaders, and cross-country ski clubs in Nova Scotia. Skiing provides an affordable, physically active, and fun experience for all ages. If you are not a school or youth group leader, and would still like to coordinate an event, please contact your local club. If you would like to book equipment for an event requiring adult-sized equipment, please contact The Links at Brunello.


We offer youth classic cross-country ski equipment rentals. Our travel fleet includes 52 sets of equipment, that can be delivered to your event or you may choose to pick up at The Links at Brunello. Our selection of 65 sets of equipment is available for events held at The Links at Brunello.

Rental fee is $100 for 2 days, flat rate, by cheque.


Instructors can be arranged to assist your group. Additional fees apply. This service is variable, plan ahead! Instructors are based on staff and volunteer availability. Service may be cancelled with limited notice due to illness or exigent circumstances. You may plan ahead by reviewing lesson plans, we can provide direction via e-mail (coming soon to website!).

Events at Your Location – Equipment Delivery (You Return)

Our travel fleet can be delivered to your event location and you are responsible for returning it. The delivery option is variable, plan ahead! This service is based on staff and volunteer availability. Delivery may be cancelled with limited notice due to illness or exigent circumstances. Be sure to form a back-up plan to arrange for gear pick-up. Storage is at The Links at Brunello.

Events at The Links at Brunello

Additional fees apply (fee schedule being developed). Contact us to book your youth event at The Links at Brunello. Your group will collect their equipment from the staff at the club house, where you can also access a heated seating area and washrooms. This location features lit night skiing and artificial snow-making in the Snow-Bowl, along with 5.5 km of groomed trails. The Snow-Bowl offers groomed terrain, approximately the size of a football field, which is excellent for beginner and intermediate skiers. The driving range includes a flat groomed area for multi-directional skiing, which is perfect for playing games and practicing skills. There is also a groomed trail around the perimeter of the range, with gentle inclines and descents. The Links at Brunello is located in Timberlea.
