A fleet of youth ski equipment is available to rent by schools, youth group leaders, and cross-country ski clubs within Nova Scotia. Skiing provides an affordable, physically active, and fun experience for all ages. If you are not a school or youth group leader, and would still like to coordinate an event, or are located outside of HRM, please contact your local club. If you would like to book equipment for an event requiring adult-sized equipment, please contact The Links at Brunello.
Equipment
We offer youth classic cross-country ski equipment rentals for 2 days. Our travel fleet accommodates classes of approximately 35 students in grades 3-6, along with limited sizes for grades 1-2, and 7-12. Equipment can be picked up the day before at The Links at Brunello and returned on the second day of your rental. Delivery may be a possibility. You may choose to hold your event in your school yard or local area, or at The Links at Brunello. If your group is comprised of students in grades 1-2, or 7-12, please contact us for possibilities.

Cost
Rental fee is $100 for 2 days, flat rate, by cheque or e-transfer.

Instructors can be arranged to assist your group. Additional fees apply. This service is variable, plan ahead! Instructors are based on staff and volunteer availability. Events at Your Location – Equipment Delivery (You Return)
Our travel fleet can be delivered to your event location and you are responsible for returning it. The delivery option is variable, plan ahead! This service is based on staff and volunteer availability. Delivery may be cancelled with limited notice due to illness or exigent circumstances. Be sure to form a back-up plan to arrange for gear pick-up. Storage is at The Links at Brunello.
Events at The Links at Brunello
Additional fees apply $10 / student. The Links at Brunello offers terrain for skiers of all abilities, please contact us to book. Your group will collect equipment from staff on-site. This location features a multi-directional ski area, 5.5 km of groomed trails, and indoor washrooms. Note, there is artificial snowmaking and lit night skiing in the “snowbowl” area.
