Sunday December 1st
Baddeck Nordic Club presents guided hikes on Sunday, December 1, with hiking durations coordinating with the following times, departing from the trailhead at 1085 Westside Baddeck Road: 2pm, 2 hour hike; 2:30pm, 1.5 hour hike; and 3pm, 1 hour hike. Please wear good boots! There is no fee for 2024-25 members. Non-members are required to purchase a day pass prior to arriving, fees are $10 for individuals, $20 for families.
A campfire will be held at the trailhead from 4:15pm – 5:30pm. Food will be provided by Entrenous including: hotdogs, sausages, and water.

Baddeck Nordic Overview
You can enjoy 10 km of groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at Baddeck Nordic Club. The trail system features beautiful, sheltered trails, with stunning views. The club promotes cross-country skiing in the Baddeck area to both local and visiting skiers and snowshoers of all ages – through skill building, social events, trail development, and trail maintenance. Formed in December, 2022, this not-for-profit club works to support skiers and snowshoers of all ages and abilities to enjoy a healthy, outdoor, winter activity. The trailhead and parking lot address is 1085 Westside Baddeck Road.
Trails
The club trails are located on private land. Trail users must purchase an annual membership or day pass, to gain access to these mapped and well marked trails. View the trail descriptions in the photos below. The trail guide is available in PDF and is linked on the club’s website. Trail conditions are updated on the club website.
