Get Your XC Skis Ready for the Season

The Keppoch presents a “Wax and Gear Session” with Ike Whitehead (aka that Ski Guy), on Saturday, December 10th, on-site at the lodge. There will be waxing demonstrations, a gear discussion, and plenty of time for questions about everything cross-country skiing.

Ike is a seasoned cross-country ski technician. He has visited The Keppoch a number of times and is an excellent resource to the ski community – with a wonderful personality and sense of humour!

Get you and your gear all set for the winter season!

Did you know? The Keppoch grooms approximately 9 kilometres of trails for cross-country skiing – with 1.5 kilometres for skate skiing. View trail maps. Rental equipment for classic technique is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Keppoch is an all-season recreation facility that offers a wide-range of outdoor activities including: cross-country skiing, snowboarding and skiing skills park, snowshoeing, fat biking, mountain biking with shuttle service, rock wall climbing, sliding, hiking, and more. There is a lodge that opens during set hours throughout the year, be sure to check The Keppoch website for details. It is registered as a non-profit and is governed by a board of directors.
