Ski and Stay
North Highlands Nordic is partnering with the Highlands Hostel, Little Brook Cottages, Sidanna Retreat, and True North Destinations to provide “Ski and Stay” packages. Simply let the accommodations provider know when you would like to ski or snowshoe, and your rental equipment and/or trail passes will be waiting for you, upon your arrival at the nordic centre.
> Minimum 2 night accommodation with participating locations
>2 daily trail passes for NHN ski and snowshoe trails (per person)
>2 daily equipment rentals (per person) *if needed
>If you come to NHN two days in a row on the Ski & Stay package, your 3rd day is free (trail pass + rental)!

At North Highlands Nordic, you’ll experience winter at its finest on the 12 km trail system, which includes terrain for all abilities. Trails are groomed by a PistenBully tractor style groomer, with 16′ wide groom for classic skiing, skate skiing, and snowshoeing. Rental equipment includes skis, snowshoes and pulk (child’s sleigh). NHN is situated in a natural snowbelt and averages 393.1cm yearly snow accumulation (Environment Canada). The snow base has been known to last into April.
