The health of our cross-country ski community is top priority. We are working diligently on the continual development of our return to sport guidelines, in compliance with rules established by the Nova Scotia Government. We will continue to partner with Sport Nova Scotia to update our guidelines, to ensure a safe return to skiing. Our cross-country ski clubs will take all steps necessary to ensure safe skiing environments.
Please refer to the Nova Scotia government website for the most up-to-date COVID-19 protocols. We thank-you in advance for taking the time to review and apply the necessary actions, which contribute to a safe skiing environment. As the 2022 season approaches, we will post updates for required return to skiing protocol, on our website under the “Documents Centre” and “News” sections; we will also post to our social media platforms. Our provincial team is adhering to government COVID-19 protocols during non-winter months.
Naturally, our sport lends itself to social distancing, and best of all it’s performed in the great outdoors. As we navigate these unprecedented times, we invite you to remind friends and family of the many inherent values and benefits of our sport. Please encourage others to take part in cross-country skiing. We believe our sport is the ideal activity to bring people together, while improving the physical and mental well-being of our fellow Nova Scotians.
Stay strong Nova Scotia and ski more.
