Safe Return to Skiing

by Cross Country Nova Scotia Staff, October 30, 2020

The health of our cross-country ski community is top priority. We are working diligently on the continual development of our Return to Sport Guidelines, in compliance with rules established by the Nova Scotia Government. We will continue to partner with Sport Nova Scotia to update our guidelines, to ensure a safe return to skiing. Our cross-country ski clubs will take all steps necessary to ensure safe skiing environments.

We’re all in this together. Please read our Return to Sport Guidelines. We thank-you in advance for taking the time to review and apply the necessary actions, which contribute to a safe skiing environment. We will post updates on our website under the “Documents Centre” and “News” sections; we will also post to our social media platforms.

Naturally, our sport lends itself to social distancing, and best of all it’s performed in the great outdoors. As we navigate these unprecedented times, we invite you to remind friends and family of the many inherent values and benefits of our sport. Please encourage others to take part in cross-country skiing. We believe our sport is the ideal activity to bring people together in 2021, while improving the physical and mental well-being of our fellow Nova Scotians.

Stay strong Nova Scotia and ski more.
