The 2020 Nova Scotia Provincial Cross-Country Ski Championships were hosted by Halifax Nordic Ski Club, at the Oakfield Golf and Country Club, on February 22nd – 23rd. Youths were supported by skiers of all ages in attendance.

A happy skier receives a round of applause, a medal, and a treat bag following the 1.8km Freestyle on February 22nd.
Participating in cross-country ski races provides fantastic experiences for youngsters (and the young-at-heart). It’s a chance to hit the trails with a group of outdoor enthusiasts in a supportive environment.

Youths benefit from participating in Nova Scotia loppets, or the annual Nova Scotia Provincial Championships. These events both provide friendly atmospheres.
