We build policy to unite the power of dedicated volunteers, to advance the sport of cross-country skiing and its athletes. Strong governance, methodical decision-making, and passionate volunteers are at the heart of Cross Country Nova Scotia. CCNS is a registered not-for-profit organization and member of Nordiq Canada, the national governing body for cross country skiing. We adhere to Nordiq Canada policies and vision to meet the evolving requirements of our sport.
Board of Directors
The CCNS volunteer board of directors are elected for 2 year terms. The board meets monthly to discuss strategies for development, targeted projects, funding sources, club reports, and updates from Nordiq Canada. Meetings are open to members of all CCNS clubs, view dates in our Calendar.
