All ski coaches teaching more than 7 hours/year, with any age group, are required to register for a Nordiq Canada coaching license (effective July 1, 2018). Qualified coaches must submit an online application. Nova Scotia cross-country ski clubs will ensure coaches have the license before they instruct or assist to instruct program participants.

Only coaches holding a valid Nordiq Canada coaching license will benefit from Nordiq Canada’s liability insurance, while performing coaching roles as designated by a registered cross country ski club.
