No Cost Training Opportunity for Coaches Teaching Beginner-Intermediate Level Children or Youth
Cross Country Nova Scotia is excited to offer the Community Coaching Course with delivery online and on-snow, at The Links at Brunello. This course is for all instructors/coaches who teach children or youth at the beginner-intermediate levels. The Community Coaching Course supports instructors/coaches to deliver high-quality ski instruction to children/youth and to become familiar with the resources for planning and delivering ski programs.
The course duration is 10 hours, which includes an on-line workshop (2 hours), and two on-snow sessions that are four hours in length (8 hours). The online portion of the course is set for Feb 1, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The on-snow modules will be held Feb 3, 11:30 am – 3:30 pm, and Feb 4, 9 am – 1 pm.
CCNS delivers the course content, which has been developed by Nordiq Canada. Course instructors are Dave Hubley and John Cameron.
The course fee is $50, which will be refunded upon completion. Please note the course pre-requisites.

Pre-requisites
CCNS will cover the cost of these courses. You will need to pay ($15 + $52) when you register. Once you have completed both modules, please send electronic copies of your receipts to Aidan at CCNS, ccns@sportnovascotia.ca, and we will reimburse you.
