Murray, Scallion, and Roy – Back at Games

Daniel Murray, Kate Scallion, and Lilla Roy are volunteering to support the Nova Scotia Provincial Team at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alberta.

Nova Scotia Provincial Team alumni volunteer a considerable amount of time developing today’s athletes. Head Coach Daniel Murray leads the team program. Both Scallion and Roy are second generation Provincial Team athletes, who are frequently assisting athletes at the club level and on training camps.

Kate Scallion is volunteering as wax technician at The Games. Kate has competed at previous summer and winter Games in cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and road racing. Scallion had the honour of being selected as flag bearer for Nova Scotia at the 2005 Games in Regina.

Lilla Roy is supporting the team as assistant coach at the 2019 Canada Winter Games. Roy has also competed at the summer and winter Games in cross-country skiing and cycling.
